Archaeology In Newfoundland and Labrador 1980 was the first volume in a series of publications released by the Historic Resources Division of the Department of Tourism and Culture, Government of Newfoundland & Labrador.  This annual publication lasted until 1986.

In 2002 the Provincial Archaeology Office (PAO) released the first PAO Newsletter in an attempt to inform people about what occurred during the previous field season.
