Fieldwork for the summer 2013

It has been an excellent year for INSIDE NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR ARCHAEOLOGY.

The first year of the blog I had just over 4000 visitors, last year I had nearly 19,000 and so far this year, up to the end of June, I’ve already had 13,000 visits. I still find those numbers incredible.

In May, I found out that my posts for the blog won a Public Communications Award from the Canadian Archaeological Association in the Professional/Institutional category. This was an unexpected honour from my peers.

But, now it’s time for me to do what most archaeologists love to do. Go out into the field and excavate or find more sites. This blog will be on hiatus until September, 2013. Thanks for your interest.
